Season booking algorithm

This was done in the blink of an eye! The algorithm did the job and came up with a very good suggestion. It's also very easy to make adjustments afterwards. The weekly overview, with all the facilities on one page so you can scroll down and see the times, is really nice. I find the calendar very easy to use, and it gives a great overview of allocated times. A completely different world from what I'm used to! Read about the project here

We have a number of sports facilities available for residents to rent. Allocating times to clubs and associations using Excel sheets is extremely time-consuming for us, anywhere from 50 to 90 hours in total. Together with Gibbs AS and other municipalities, we tackled the challenge and solved it by automating the allocation. Once the applications are in, all we have to do is press a button. The algorithm allocates in the blink of an eye. For us, that means less time spent and a fair allocation for the applicants. Read about the entire project here

Today we use Excel sheets to organise and allocate recurring training times to clubs and associations. Allocating times is demanding, especially when hall capacity is limited and there are many applicants.
Together with Gibbs, we have automated the allocation! This solution will definitely change the way we organise and allocate regular training times in the future, and save us considerable resources we can spend on creating value.
